What are the safest and most dangerous places to be when flying?
Summary
The best place to be is high, maybe 100 feet (30 m). Upwind is even better. Use full power on take-off to get there as soon as possible. The worst place to be is low and slow. Don’t stretch the landing when you are just a foot off the ground.

Good stuff, 3 mistakes high is a great place to be
Yeah, that sounds about right. I figured 100 feet (30 m) was easier to gauge.
Makes me wonder what is the height I usually feel comfortable at.
That’s a great question! For me, it’s about 30 feet (10 m). I know I can recover from that height.
